Hi there. I’m Lisa. I was brought up in Uji city, Kyoto. After graduation, I worked for ten years in Kyoto, doing accounting work and working as a secretary. After that, worked on Intellectual Property for ten years in Tokyo.
Thanks for my second daughter’s serious food allergies, I have learned we can cook delicious meals without eggs and milk! An old saying “you are what you eat.” make me realize the importance of the food and I have been trying to select organic food, avoid food additives and preservatives as much as possible. I love aroma therapy, gardening, herbs. (Recent happy news is the cutting of rose has taken root and come into bloom!)
Since we came back to our hometown Uji, Kyoto in 2017, I would love to support tourists especially small kids enjoy Uji, Kyoto and surrounding area “YAMASHIRO area.” I believe that the experiences in the childhood could have big influence on their lives. Touch Nature! Touch Tradition! Touch Culture! Let’s enjoy Kyoto with us!
